We had a look at the auction summary page and noticed some interesting numbers. * Please note, Heritage has not completed adding all notes to its website yet. These numbers are current as of November 30, 2011 and in no way are meant to represent the complete lot list in the F.U.N. auction this January.
That said, here are some fun facts (thru 11/30/2011):
- There are 55 lots of Canadian currency – pretty neat, eh?
- At least 347 Confederate notes will be up for grabs
- 2 Fractional Currency Shields will be available, with some minor imperfections in addition to some water damage, a trait shared by most shields as a result of a flood.
- Just 3 group lots so far.
- At least 953 National Bank notes and 577 Obsolete Bank Notes will cross the auction block.
- A $1000 reverse change-over pair is one of the auction’s highlights, estimated to sell for more than $20,000 USD.

- South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, and Hawaii all have just 1 note each in the entire auction per state, most likely National Bank Notes.
- The Continental Congress would be proud to know that at least 27 of its issues will be auctioned in the year 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
